Ok, now this is not strictly a pub, it’s a hotel. But don’t let this detract you as I personally think it just makes it even more important that you find out about, mainly because it won’t appear in your usual search for pubs in London.
Now whilst this is not a pub, it is a delightful stop off on a night out, I personally like to pop in as the climax to an evening – no pun intended. The bar and dining area is situated on the 8th floor and offers the greatest view of nocturnal London that you will ever see. Without sounding clichéd – and admittedly I have been intoxicated the majority of times that I have seen it- but this is the greatest most London-affirming sights that I have seen since moving here.
The bar is open until late and allows you to quite easily get a pint for the road or even, if you are persistent, a cup of tea.

MUST BE THE MUSIC

Must be the music final is this weekend and I am looking forward to it! I have watched it since the beginning and the final is going to be at Wembley arena.
I think the show has the edge on Xfactor as it is raw talent and includes not only singers but musicians and rappers too. What is also great is in the semi-final stage the contestants got their song recorded and it was available to download. All the money raised from the downloads went to the artist.
My favourite act is Pepper and Piano. Their song 'You Took My Heart' went into the top five of the download chart and in the auditions stage made Fearne Cotton cry! It has so much emotion and they are very talented. Fingers crossed they will win!
